Traffic Alert: New Hutch Lane Closures This Week

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Fog won't be the only thing making getting around Westchester a little more trickier than normal today.

The New York State Department of Transportation said that a northbound lane of the Hutchinson River Parkway in Westchester County will be closed for construction on Wednesday and Thursday.

The northbound lane of the Hutch is expected to close between Exit 4 (U.S. Route 1) in Pelham Manor and Exit 8 (Cross County Parkway) in New Rochelle.

The scheduled roadwork will take place Wednesday and Thursday, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting, according to the agency.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
