Traffic Alert: Section Of Southbound Hutch To Close For Work
The southbound Hutchinson River Pkwy will be closed between New Rochelle and Mount Vernon/Pelham from Friday night to Monday morning.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is warning drivers that the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway will be closed between New Rochelle and Mount Vernon/Village of Pelham this entire weekend.
The NYSDOT said that the southbound Hutch is expected to close between Exit 8 (Cross County Parkway) in the City of New Rochelle and Exit 6 (East Lincoln Ave.) in the City of Mount Vernon/Village of Pelham. The closing is needed because of scheduled construction at Exit 6 (East Lincoln Ave./Mount Vernon/Pelham) as part of the ongoing bridge replacement and rehabilitation project in lower Westchester.
The closure will start Friday, May 20 at 10 p.m. and continue through Monday, May 23 at 5 a.m., weather permitting, according to the agency.
