TV Personality Nick Brown Gets Behind Back-To-School Bash

The event celebrates the Center for College and Careers.

From The Guidance Center of Westchester: The Guidance Center of Westchester today announced that Nick Brown, show host, TV personality, BMI songwriter, commercial actor, and print model, will take part in the Back to School Bash, the October 24 th celebration of the Center for College & Careers.

“Nick knows the important role that a program like ours can play in the lives of young people,” says
Daniel Bonnet, deputy director for the Center for College & Careers. “Like many of our program
participants, Nick was a first-generation immigrant. He is a great example of how hard work and hustle
can make dreams a reality.”

In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Nick is a busy and popular motivational speaker on
college campuses, encouraging students to get involved with their campus and become a student
leaders. The Center for College & Careers (CCC) transforms the lives of both youth and young adults so they can pursue post-secondary education or start on a career track. CCC helps youth and young adults develop skills and confidence while creating opportunities for them to have successful futures in whatever path they choose. More than 370 young people participate in the CCC each year. Tickets for the October 24 th event are $55 and still available at TheGuidanceCenter.org. The event takes place at the Davenport Mansion in New Rochelle. Funds raised through the Bash will go directly to the Center for College & Careers.
