United Hebrew Golf Outing Raises $183K for Senior Care

32nd Annual Golf Tournament is one of the nonprofit organization's signature fundraisers for the comprehensive care they provide.

More than 150 friends, donors, community and business leaders attended United Hebrew of New Rochelle’s 32nd Annual Golf Tournament and dinner on July 10 at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase. The event included an elite 18-hole golf tournament, a $50,000 shoot out contest for closest to the pin winners, and a gourmet lunch.

Golfers also enjoyed a festive cocktail hour and a grand reception with an awards ceremony, raffle prizes and silent auction. One of two signature fundraisers United Hebrew hosts each year, the golf tournament raised $161,000 for direct care of residents at United Hebrew’s campus of comprehensive care, which includes skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, Alzheimer’s and dementia care. During a special on-site fundraiser, attendees contributed an additional $22,000 for United Hebrew’s enriching music and movement therapy programs.
