Voter Registration Drive Tuesday In New Rochelle

Register or re-register -- find the League of Women Voters at the library, Monroe College and CNR, the Stop 'n Shop on Palmer Avenue...

It's National Voter Registration Day. League of Women Voters of New Rochelle volunteers are at four sites around the city to register new voters, re-register voters who have moved, supply absentee ballot applications and answer questions. An official holiday since 2012, Voter Registration Day grew to involve over 3,500 organizations who registered about 750,000 Voters in 2016.

The LWV will be at the following New Rochelle sites on Tuesday:

  • Stop and Shop on Palmer Avenue-11am to 1pm and 5:30 to 7pm
  • Monroe College, 380 and 434 Main Street lobbies-11am to 1pm and 5:30 to 7pm
  • College of New Rochelle, Sweeney Hall-12:30am to 2pm
  • New Rochelle Public Library-2:30 to 4pm

For those who cannot visit the sites at these times, voter registration forms also are available at City Hall, the Library, the Westchester County Board of Elections at 25 Quarropas Street in White Plains, on line at www.elections.ny.gov and on the League’s election website www.Vote411.org
