Westchester Ballet Company's Performance of 'The Nutcracker' Dec. 19-21

Xiaoxiao Cao and Vladimir Roje, who delighted audiences in 2012 and 2013, will reprise their roles as the Sugarplum Fairy and Her Cavalier.

Experience Classic Holiday Magic with Westchester Ballet Company’s The Nutcracker
For the past 18 years, the Westchester Ballet Company—one of America’s oldest community ballet troupes—has been entertaining audiences at the Westchester County Center with its production of The Nutcracker, and this magical holiday treat has become a tradition for families and friends across the county. Journey with young Clara from an enchanting holiday party in her family’s Victorian mansion to a glistening winter wonderland and land filled with delectable sweets.

WBC’s production features professional guest soloists and 120 professionally trained student dancers from communities throughout Westchester and neighboring areas. Xiaoxiao Cao and Vladimir Roje, who delighted audiences in 2012 and 2013, will reprise their roles as the Sugarplum Fairy and Her Cavalier.

Under the direction of Beth Fritz-Logrea and Jean Logrea, the show includes spectacular scenery, beautiful costumes, classic choreography and special stage effects that rival the best productions in the New York metropolitan area—for a fraction of the cost.

Performance Information
Westchester Ballet Company’s The Nutcracker is December 19 at 10:00 am (school performance), December 20 at 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm; December 21 at 2 pm. All performances are at the centrally located Westchester County Center, 198 Central Park Avenue, White Plains, which is also easily reached by public transportation.

Tickets purchased in advance: $22.50; $17.50 children ages 2-10 and seniors and $17.50 for groups of 20 or more. All tickets are $27.50 the day of the performance.
