WFAN All-Stars Celebrity Softball Game Set for New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — It’s time once again for the annual WFAN All-Stars Celebrity Softball Game in the City of New Rochelle.

The fifth annual free event will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, August 18 at the Flowers (City) Park athletic complex.

Once again former New Rochelle resident and high school alum Craig Carton of the “Boomer and Carton” radio sports talk show will face off along with his superstar lineup against a city team coached by Harold Crocker.

Previous years’ lineups have included Boomer Esianson, wally Szcerbiak, Howard Johnson and Roy White.

Warm-ups will start at 5:30 p.m. with game starting at 6 p.m.

There will be a food and beverage court area hosted by Beechmont Tavern open throughout the game.
