White Plains Man Accused Of Making Terroristic Threat
Police said the threat was made by phone to a downtown office building.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A White Plains man was accused of making a threat against a New Rochelle office building. State police said Pero P. Cheng, 54, of White Plains, was charged with making a terroristic threat, a felony.
Police said, on Monday, the GHP office building, located at 145 Huguenot St. in New Rochelle, received a terroristic threat.
Security immediately notified the state police.

An investigation found Cheng made the threat via telephone and was arrested Tuesday.
He was arraigned in the Westchester County Court and was released on his own recognizance.

Cheng is next scheduled to appear in court May 5.
