Wind Advisory Issued For Southern Westchester

Winds will be out of the east at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

Along with the rain that’s in the forecast for Saturday night into Sunday, southern Westchester will need to batten down the hatches. The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for southern Westchester County that is in effect from 11 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday.

Winds will be out of the east at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

The greatest impacts will be closer to the immediate shorelines.
