Wind Advisory For Parts Of Hudson Valley

Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees and power lines, the National Weather Service said.

Hold onto your hats. It's going to be really windy today in southern Westchester. The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory in effect until noon Friday for southern Westchester.

The NWS said winds will be from the north at 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, in open areas and on elevated roads and bridges. Extra caution should be used.
