Tutti Bravi stages new works that celebrate Westchester history (Tutti Bravi )

Tutti Bravi Productions, Inc., in collaboration with the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, has issued a call for Westchester writers to submit original monologues featuring a Westchester person, place or event, to be included in a theatrical production by the Company.

Tutti Bravi's mission is to present original and creative works in opera and theater by and about people and events in Westchester County, bringing to life those whose stories are unsung, unknown or forgotten. Past productions have included "Anne Hutchinson," "The Victory Garden Plays" and "Little Rock of the North," an original play about the desegregation of Lincoln School.

Members of the public are encouraged to submit original work for possible consideration of future productions. Original work includes musical theater, opera, spoken word and readings. The monologues should be a maximum of 10 minutes long, and should be submitted digitally, no later than April 30, 2023. Up to ten finalists will be selected from the entries, to be used in a production in the fall of 2023. If the writer wishes to present his/her own monologue in the production, the submission must be accompanied by a video sample showing his/her performance abilities.
