Polling places open at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. Because there was redistricting due to the 2010 census, some polling places may have changed. The county Board of Elections mailed reminders to registered voters recently, but if anyone has a question, they can go to

The mayor and City Council are elected for four-year terms. The mayor's salary is $89,000. Councilmembers receive $33,000.
