North Hempstead's Harbor Links Named Best Golf Course in Nassau County (longisland.com) — Harbor Links, the Town of North Hempstead's public golf course in Port Washington, has just been voted the best golf course in Nassau County after a year of major upgrades and new management. Nearly $2 million in improvements, from tech-enabled driving ranges to new restaurants and a renovated clubhouse, are turning this town-owned course into a regional destination for golfers of all ages.
2. 4. Roslyn Harbor unveils America 250 Independence Garden (longislandpress.com) — A new America 250 Independence Garden has opened in nearby Roslyn Harbor, with North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena joining local officials, first responders, and residents for the dedication.
