β’ $3M revitalization project underway on Westbury Avenue in Carle Place (newsbreak.com) β A $3 million overhaul of Westbury Avenue in Carle Place is now underway, bringing new pavement, sidewalks, drainage, and safer crossings to this busy North Hempstead commercial strip. Funded jointly by the town, Nassau County, and federal relief money, the 0.7βmile project will cause temporary lane and sidewalk closures but keep access to homes and businesses, with completion expected in 2027.
