2-Car Crash In Mattituck Leads To DWI Charge: Police
The Middle Island woman was arrested Sunday, police say.
NORTH FORK, NY — A Middle Island woman was arrested after a two-car crash in Mattituck Sunday, police said.
According to Southold Town police, the crash took place at 5:06 p.m. on Sound Avenue.
All individuals from both vehicles were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment, police said.

Following an investigation, Brittany D'Agostino Smith, 29, was found to be intoxicated, police said.
She was arrested, transported to Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital for treatment of her injuries, and subsequently transported to Southold Town police headquarters where she was processed and held for arraignment, police said.

She was charged with misdemeanor DWI, police said.
The Mattituck, Cutchogue and Southold Fire Departments responded to the scene to assist, police said.
