MATTITUCK, NY — Two Mattituck High School juniors are helping their classmates achieve academic success.

Mattituck High School juniors Alexa Field and Alexandra Rychlik "recognized the importance of supporting their peers academically and decided the best way to do that would be to form a Homework Help Club," the Mattituck-Cutchogue School District said.

The new club meets on Fridays and students can get academic assistance on completing their class assignments and homework assignments; students can also get advice on improving their study skills, time management skills and ways to improve their grades, the district added.
