3 Injured in Collision on Route 48 and Depot Lane in Cutchogue: Police
At the site of last year's limo crash, a car was slowing for the changing light when it was rear-ended by a second vehicle, police said.

CUTCHOGUE, NY — A car slowing down for a changing light at Depot Lane on Route 48 in Cutchogue was rear ended by a second vehicle Sunday, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the accident took place on Sunday at 5:54 p.m. when Mahmud Hassan, 23, of Jamaica, who was driving a 2005 Nissan west on Route 48, rear ended Rafi Abbas, 19, of Jamaica. Abbas, police said, was slowing down for the changing traffic light.
Three passengers in Hassan's Nissan suffered minor injuries and were transported to Eastern Long Island Hospital for treatment, police said.
