SOUTHOLD, NY — Three people were rescued from a boat taking on water in Southold this week, police said.
According to Southold Town police, the incident took place on Monday at 2:02 p.m. at Inlet Way, in the area of Cedar Beach.
Police responded and helped the three who were aboard the vessel, taking them safely back to land; they were brought back to their Cutchogue home, police said.

The vessel was secured by Sea Tow and also transported back to the Cutchogue residence; no injuries were reported, police said.
