3rd Annual Winterfest Set To Delight In Southold: See Event Schedule
Southold will be transformed into a winter wonderland: Here's a full schedule of the day's events.

SOUTHOLD, NY — A popular new tradition will be back once again Saturday in Southold Town.
The Southold Economic Development Committee has announced its third annual WinterFest event, which is slated to take place on Main Road in the hamlet of Southold from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, with a rain date of February 18, 2024.
The new annual event celebrates the community of Southold and promotes its many local businesses and organizations, organizers said. All residents, out-of-towners and interested Southold businesses are invited. Scores of local businesses and organizations and 2,000 visitors are expected to participate, the group added.

“In 2022 we developed a winter event to support our local businesses and provide something fun and exciting for both visitors and Southold Town residents. In 2023, we fine-tuned the operations template for this event, which attracted over 25 organizations and about 1,000 visitors. That enabled us to have a solid launch pad for 2024. We expect participation to double for this, our third annual event. An experienced operations team is in place, and we already have participation commitments from many more local businesses and organizations," said Jack Malley, chairperson of the EDC.
The event is free to all residents and visitors.

In addition to participating Southold merchants, the event will feature more than 35 exhibits spotlighting local businesses and organizations. WinterFest 2024 will also include live entertainment, free food and beverages, giveaways, fun activities for adults and children, special events and prizes.
The Southold Town Economic Development Committee was created by the Southold town board to advance initiatives that support economic growth for residents and businesses.
