The parade kicks off at noon, "with thousands expected to fill Greenport’s Main Street in a vibrant display of love, unity, and pride," organizers aid.
The festival takes place along Greenport’s Front and Main Streets and in Mitchell Park, showcasing local businesses serving food, wine and beer, artisanal items, and local goods as well as resource and info booths, organizer said.
The parade steps off at noon, with the festival running from noon to 5 p.m.
The parade begins at the intersection of Main Street/Broad Street in Greenport and heads through downtown Greenport along Main Street before turning onto Front Street and ending near Mitchell Park.
"North Fork Pride is a celebration and a statement," organizers said. "The theme of this year's Pride is 'Unstoppable Pride,' reflecting the continued strength, visibility, and resilience of our local LGBTQ+ communities at a time when LGBTQ+ people continue to be targeted in schools, legislatures, and courts and face renewed threats to healthcare access and safety. North Fork Pride sends a strong, unified message: We will not be silenced, and we will not be erased."
