5 Charged In Labor Day Weekend DWI Enforcement Detail: Cops
The five were charged in an East End DWI sweep over Labor Day weekend, police say.

SOUTHOLD, NY — Five individuals on the North Fork were charged in saturation patrols conducted by the East End DWI Task Force over Labor Day weekend, police said.
Officers from Southold Town Police, Riverhead Town Police, Suffolk County Police and New York State Police departments conducted the patrols from 8 p.m. Saturday night to 4 a.m. Sunday morning, police said.

- Casey Luther, 35, of Southold, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and failing to yield the right-of-way to an emergency vehicle, police said.
- Jessica Jackson, 28, of Greenport, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, unlicensed operation, failure to stop at a stop sign, and illegal signal, police said.

- Alex A. Arce, 29, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI and moving from a lane unsafely, police said.
- Angel Perez, 32, of Greenport, was charged with driving while ability impaired, unlicensed operation, and and failure to yield the right-of-way, police said.
- Kit Lepre, 26, of Cutchogue, was arrested and charged with DWI and driving without headlights, police said.
All of those arrested were processed and held overnight for arraignment in Southold Town Justice Court, police said.
