MATTITUCK, NY — A fire broke out at Goldberg's Famous Bagels in Mattituck Monday, police said.
According to Southold Town police, the fire began at about noon when a cardboard box ignited in the storage room.
The fire was extinguished by the building's sprinkler system, police said.
Mattituck, Cutchogue and Jamesport Fire Departments responded, police said.
The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental, police said.
