Argument Between Neighbors Turns 'Violent,' Man Arrested: PD
An argument with a neighbor became "violent" when one man "attacked his neighbor" and threw a bike at him, injuring him, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — A man was arrested after an argument with a neighbor in Greenport became violent Thursday, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the incident took place Thursday at 2:07 p.m. on Ludlam Place and Sterling Avenue. Isaias Cruz-Ramirez, 20, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault; third-degree criminal mischief; fourth-degree criminal mischief; and third-degree burglary, police said.
Cruz-Ramirez had an argument with one of his neighbors on Ludlum Place in Greenport, the argument turned "violent" and Cruz-Ramirez "attacked his neighbor" by throwing a bicycle at him, causing physical injury, police said.

Cruz-Ramirez broke two windows on his neighbor's vehicles that were parked by the residence and fled the scene, police said. Next, a neighbor on the adjoining block reported someone entered a shed on their property and stole a mountain bike; police determined Cruz-Ramirez was responsible, authorities said.
Cruz-Ramirez and the bicycle were later located at the Greenport 7-Eleven, police said. He was arrested, transported to Southold Police headquarters, processed, and held for morning arraignment, police said.
