NORTH FORK, NY — To honor and celebrate front line workers and hospital heroes, the Greenport Harbor Brewery introduced the new "Strong IPA" this week.

The new brew was also created to marks the end of Greenport Harbor Brewery's successful face shield project, where owners teamed up with William J. Mills & Co. and a sea of community volunteers to create more than 8,000 face shields for essential workers on the North Fork and across Long Island.

And that's not all: "In appreciation of our heroes, we are offering the option to include a 4-pack of Strong IPA, when you purchase any case, for you to give to a front-line worker in your life," a release said. The brewery will split the cost of the 4- pack, a release said.
