Brush Fire Breaks Out In Mattituck

The fire broke out at around 3 p.m., officials say.

MATTITUCK, NY — A brush fire broke out in Mattituck Monday, officials said.

According to firefighters at the scene, the call came in around 3 p.m. for the fire on Sigsbee Road.

Mattituck, Cutchogue, Jamesport and Riverhead Fire Departments responded. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire has not been determined, officials said.
