~"Bunny in the Backyard" ~ Definitely a Hare-Raising Tail ~

Appreciation goes to The Suffolk Times SOUTHOLD columnist Katy Stokes for her October 13, 2022 column featuring "Bunny in the Backyard."
North Forker of Long Island's Cathie Dunn was leaving work one day only to discover a bunny "behind a local business..." A carrot was fed to it as well as "a snack, every day for the next three months."
Cathie nicknamed the rabbit "Harry-O"

According to Barbara Sheryll's CUTCHOGUE-NEW SUFFOLK column in The Suffolk Times dated October 13, 2022, "The bunny {was named Harry-O by Cathie after Cathie's grandfather} had a good life, burrowing holes and traveling between Jeni's {Restaurant in Southold, New York} and the Southold library... {She} brought the bunny home to Cutchogue {and} later moved to Niagara Falls, where they lived well together{,} until Harry-O passed away a few months ago.
"Bunny in the Backyard" was written by Cathie Dunn -{&}- hopefully can be a terrific example for children to be sure to care "for their pets."
