The Cadet Chorale is a select group of singers drawn from the corps of cadets. The choir travels widely, performing for audiences each year in New York City, Chicago, Boston, and Washington, DC, along with many historic locations along the East Coast. Recent international tours have included England, Italy, Ireland and Germany.

"The Cadet Music Department features a wide range of vocal and instrumental ensembles with a robust performance schedule and a highly anticipated musical theatre production each winter," organizers said. "Although the cadets in music department ensembles are all talented musicians, they are specializing in one of nine engineering or professional fields, and upon graduation will receive commissions as ensigns in the Coast Guard. The cadet music programs provide a high-impact opportunity for leadership development for all cadets who participate."

Organizers thanked the Suffolk County 250th for facilitating the free program. Southold Historical Museum programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
