On June 30th from 10:30 to 11:30 the Friends of Floyd Memorial Library are hosting an exciting reading celebration for children five years of age and younger. We will have as a special guest Nina Ross, the author and illustrator of the Montauk Mike series of children’s books (you would probably know her if you have young children). She will read her newest book and do an art project with the children. Snacks will be served, and books would be available for sale.
This should be a really fun time for the kids - from Greenport, East Marion and Orient (Floyd Memorial’s catchment area). The event is free, and sign-up is on the Floyd Memorial website.
