
World-renowned pianist Magdalena Baczewska, who is described as "Columbia Professor by day, musical sorceress by night," returns to the Jamesport Meeting House on Saturday, September 26 at 7:30 p.m. to lead off the venue’s 1731 Series. The program features compositions by Fryderyk Chopin, Henry Cowell, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Franghiz Ali-Zadeh, Philip Glass, and Arvo Pärt. Ms. Baczewska has performed with orchestras including the San Francisco Symphony and Philadelphia Orchestra and at venues such as Tanglewood Music Festival, Carnegie Hall and the Beijing National Center for the Performing Arts. The East End is fortunate to be able to enjoy her incredible talent locally at the Jamesport Meeting House on September 26.
