Become a part of a paranormal investigation, just like the ones you see on television and YouTube! On October 24 , the L.I. Paranormal Investigators are coming to the Village Green in Cutchogue for an exclusive tour of the Wickham House and the Old House. The Wickham House is the house that harbored the axe murderer Nicholas Bain, who brutally murdered Francis and James Wickham in 1854. The Old House has stood on the site for over 300 years, has housed enslaved people, and has an interesting Revolutionary War story. After the team has had a chance to collate, examine, and interpret the findings, a follow-up of what was found will be presented in the spring. Follow-up from last year’s event shows evidence of haunting in the buildings you will be visiting. You will learn about the history of each building, witness a live paranormal investigation, and learn about the scientific methods that are used. There are two sessions, with one starting at 6 pm and the second at 8 pm. Report to the Schoolhouse and dress warmly. Register for the 6 pm or 8 pm tour.
