Silk Road Reverie: A Journey in Dance and Rhythm

Join us for a one-of-a-kind performance by acclaimed dancer and cultural educator Wendi Weng and percussionist Chris Howard. The Silk Road was one of history’s great trade routes, connecting more than forty countries from China to Türkiye. This performance invites you to explore the Silk Road’s legacy through rhythm and movement. Featuring percussion instruments once traded along the route and dances that blossomed through cultural exchange, this workshop highlights the rich traditions of the Middle East and Far East.

Registration encouraged, walk-ins welcomed.
