April Gornik: Finding My Soul in Landscape

April Gornik, a renowned New-York based artist, has a long and dedicated career making paintings, drawings and prints of landscapes. She will give a brief history of previous works, but focus on her more current works. Her work often has a dream-like quality, and she derives imagery from experience, photographs, and dreams and literature, including, importantly, poetry.
