Capital One Jamesport Branch to Close Down

The Capital One bank located on Main Road in Jamesport will be closing down in order for the company to operate “as efficiently as possible while continuing to provide quality service and products,” according to The Suffolk Times.

There is still no exact date to when the bank will close, but all the employees were given over 90 days notice that they will no long have their positions and will be able to find work at other Capital One locations with the company’s assistance, according to The Suffolk Times.

The bank’s customers were all sent a letter in January informing them of the closure and will have their accounts transferred automatically to the Riverhead branch on Route 58, according to The Suffolk Times.
