UPDATE: Police ID Elderly Woman Injured After Crashing Into Mattituck Building
The crash occurred Thursday afternoon.

Update:
An eldery Orient woman was injured after she crashed her car into a building at the Mattituck Plaza shopping center, according to Southold Town Police.
Dorothy Fisher, 89, had just used the Capital One ATM at Mattituck Plaza and attempted to leave in a 2001 Mercury when the accelerator became stuck, police said.

The car spun out and crashed into the wall of Renee’s Home Furnishings, according to police.
Fisher sustained a leg injury and was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center via Mattituck Fire Department Rescue, police said

A car crashed into a building at the Mattituck Plaza shopping center on Thursday afternoon, Southold Town Police confirmed.
Police received the call at about 1:10 p.m. reporting the crash into the front of Renee’s Home Furnishings, next to Starbucks, at 10095 Main Road.
Police said there appeared to be no life-threatening injuries.
The driver has not yet been identified.
