Born August 7, 1975, actress, philanthropist -{&}- social activist CHARLIZE THERON has such a wide-range of talent. In 2008, she was honored by the United Nations when she became the organization's tenth messenger of peace. CHARLIZE THERON is also an advocate for The Global Fund, an institution dedicated to fighting AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
She made her acting debut in a small role in Children of the Corn III in1995. CHARLIZE THERON was cast in 1997's The Devil's Advocate starring AL PACINO -{&}- KEANU REEVES as she played KEANU REEVES' suicidal wife. In Disney's remake of Mighty Joe Young in 1998, CHARLIZE THERON had a starring role. Then in 1999, she had roles in The Astronaut's Wife opposite JOHNNY DEPP -{&}- The Cider House Rules with TOBEY MAGUIRE. In 2001, she re-teamed with KEANU REEVES for the tearjerker Sweet November. Two years later she starred opposite MARK WAHLBERG in the heist thriller The Italian Job.
CHARLIZE THERON's serial killer Aileen Wuornos role in the biopic Monster garnered her both an Academy Award -{&}- a Golden Globe Award for her gritty, gripping performance.
After her turn as Britt Ekland in The Life and Death of Peter Sellers in 2004, CHARLIZE THERON took on another strong drama, starring in 2005's North Country with SISSY SPACEK -{&}- FRANCES McDORMAND. In North Country, she was an iron miner fighting sexual harassment in the work place. Also in 2004, she starred in the big-screen adaptation of the MTV cult cartoon Aeon Flux, and made multiple guest appearances on the award-winning television comedy Arrested Development.
In 2017, CHARLIZE THERON starred as MI6 agent Lorraine Broughton in Atomic Blonde, based on the graphic novel The Coldest City, and continued in the action-thriller genre as a cyberterrorist in The Fate of the Furious. In 2018, she starred in the critically-acclaimed Tully and the uneven Gringo. CHARLIZE THERON joined SETH ROGEN for the 2019 romantic comedy Long Shot -{&}- then headlined the star-studded voice cast of The Addams Family as the creepy and kooky family matriarch Morticia.
I have a theory regarding CHARLIZE THERON... It seems that CHARLIZE THERON is going to reprise her role as the fierce and formidable Andromache of Scythia, leading her team of immortals on another epic adventure in The Old Guard 2. I was at Southold Pharmacy when USMAGAZINE.COM Issue 41 October 9, 2023 editions were available for sale. Initially I thought to cancel my US subscription as I hadn’t received enough copies yet plus the fact that professionals are gossiped-about so-readily just because they can be being in the spotlight - { & } – I don’t think that’s fair ‘cause there is something called PRIVACY.

I purchased the issue, brought it home, on page 11 was CHARLIZE THERON took the stage who & I quote “Loved being a part of {the 2023 Global Citizen Concert in New York City September 23 {2023}” epic event in support of global health and reproductive rights.”
