Child Dies In Greenport Crash: Police
BREAKING: Two others were injured in the tragic Greenport crash Tuesday night.
GREENPORT, NY — A child died in a Greenport crash Tuesday night, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the child, who was not immediately identified, was one of three involved in the two-car crash at the intersection of Chapel Lane and Rt. 48.
Southold Town Police and Greenport Fire Department responded to the scene. The roadway was closed in both directions as the crash was investigated.
