Child Injured In Greenport Rollover Crash: Fire Chief
The female driver of the car involved was also injured, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — A child was injured in a rollover crash in Greenport Sunday night, officials said.
According to Greenport Fire Chief Susano Jiminez, the crash, which took place at approximately 6:10 p.m. at the intersection of Fifth and Front Streets, involved a pickup truck and car.
Jiminez said it appeared that the driver of the pickup, who was heading east, "took the turn too close" when turning north onto Fifth Street and ended up on the front bumper of the car involved before rolling over onto its side. It was not immediately clear how fast that driver was going, Jiminez said.
