Civil Service Exam Information Seminar Offered In Southold
Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone has implemented new policies to focus on diversity and inclusion, the Anti-Bias Task Force says.

SOUTHOLD, NY — Anyone interested in learning more about how to take a civil service exam is welcome to attend an information seminar offered by Southold Town.
With an eye toward understanding the importance of diversity and expanding the pool of local candidates for potential employment with government agencies locally or elsewhere, the Town of Southold, along with the Southold Town Anti-Bias Task Force and Suffolk County Civil Service representatives, will present a seminar on navigating the process and learning how to research and apply for employment.
The seminar will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. at the Peconic Community Center, located on Peconic Lane in Peconic.

Southold Anti-Bias Task Force co-chair Sonia Spar said on the agenda for discussion are changes that have taken place since Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone implemented new policies to focus on inclusion and diversity.
