Clerk Nabbed In North Fork Underage Drinking Enforcement Detail: PD
A clerk at a Southold business was cited, police say.
SOUTHOLD, NY — One clerk was nabbed recently in an underage drinking enforcement detail, police said.
On Monday, January 29, the New York State Police Barracks in Riverside conducted the operation in Southold Town, officials said. One retail establishment was cited for selling an alcoholic beverage to an undercover state police operative under the age of 21, police said.
A 46-year-old Bellerose man, a clerk at Showcase Wine & Liquor on County Road 48 in Southold, was arrested and charged with first-degree unlawful dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, police said.

- Gulf Mini Mart on Youngs Ave. in Southold.
- BP on County Rd. 48 in Peconic.
- NOFO Beer and Smoke on County Rd. 48 in Mattituck.
