On Christmas Eve, the church will hold its candlelight service at the Jamesport Meeting House starting at 5 p.m.
As for Christmas Eve, Ms. Young said the church will hold its candlelight service at the Jamesport Meeting House at 5 p.m. The event was planned prior to the latest arrangement with Holy Trinity, she added.
The church, which is currently congregating at the Custer Institute and Observatory, will be holding services in Greenport for at lease two months since the space at the observatory is too small, according to a report in The Suffolk Times.
In addition, the church’s board of trustees created a rebuilding committee, which is currently working on a building plan with the town, according to the report.
