MATTITUCK, NY — A happy crowd headed to Love Lane in Mattituck Friday night to kick off "First Fridays," a popular event hosted by the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce.

During First Fridays, Love Lane is closed to cars and young and old can enjoy artisanal foods, craft beverages, goods from local shops, music, and the fun of running into neighbors new and old all out to savor the best of the North Fork.

First Fridays are held on the first Friday of each month through Oct. 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Love Lane in Mattituck.
