Crowd Of Kids Turns Out For Santa Day In Mattituck: Photos

MATTITUCK, NY — Singing Christmas carols and cheering, an excited crowd of children welcomed Santa and Mrs. Claus to Mattituck Saturday.

"Santa Day "brought Old St. Nick to the Mattituck Shopping Plaza in a Mattituck Fire Department firetruck. Hosted by the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce, the day began with a free showing of "Frozen 2" at Mattituck Cinemas, followed by free hot chocolate at Starbuck's.

Little Miss and Little Mister Mattituck, Julianna Witczak and Gavin Springer, were onhand to enjoy the fun.

Santa and Mrs. Claus then greeted a long line of children, and even one newborn baby, who waited patiently to have their photos taken inside Walgreens.
