Crowd Revs Up For 8th Annual Southold American Legion Car Show

SOUTHOLD, NY — Car enthusiasts are revving up their hot rods and hogs for a well-loved event: The 8th Annual Car Show will be presented by the Southold American Legion Griswold Terry Glover Post 803 Sunday.

The event will be held at the American Legion, located at 51655 Main Road in Southold, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and include music, food trucks, a 50/50 raffle vendors and a membership drive.

All funds raised will be used for the preservation of the Southold American Legion's Griswold Terry Glover Post 803 and helping local veterans, organizers said.

"Pin-up girls" reminiscent of the 50s will also be onhand, as will a representative from the Northport VA Medical Center, who will answer questions. Music will be provided by the New York Vendettas and WLNG will be broadcasting live, organizers said.
