~ Cutchogue's the Sacred Heart School...

Folks... Grant Parpan of the Times-Review Newspapers on September 12th, 2022, published an article titled: "Peconic Community School to purchase Sacred Heart campus in Cutchogue."
What I have done here being that the Times-Review Newspapers are copyrighted, I have gone-ahead -{&}- re-organized Grant Parpan's style, okay -{?}- Perhaps I'm mistaken... BUT... perhaps the initial information was taken from a press release -{!}-
Here goes my interpretation -{&}- I say thanksalatea for paying attention yet again as it is known that I Pay-It-Forward -{!}-
Our Lady of Mercy is a private school educating "more than 100 students from pre-K through 8th grade" -{&}- closed in 2018. At the end of 2012, Sacred Heart Church closed.
A non-profit, independent, -{&}- progressive is the reputation of the Peconic Community School. Aquebogue's Our Redeemer Lutheran Church has been based since its inception in 2012. Peconic Community School leases property at Aquebogue's Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Beginning in the fall of 2023, Peconic Community School hopes to make use of Our Lady of Mercy Regional School as its permanent home. Peconic Community purchased Our Lady of Mercy which is 10.2 acres -{&}- is known as Our Lady of Mercy purchased the property along with the church and rectory buildings neighboring Our Lady of Mercy Regional School. Both sisters 'hope to expand to include' “after school and summer camp offerings; update the carriage house into an art studio with a community kiln and to preserve and improve the property’s wooded acreage with trails.”
Kathryn Casey Quigley and her sister Liz Casey Searl founded the Peconic Community School. Co-executive director of the Peconic Community School Kathryn Casey Quigley is quoted as saying:“Having been raised in this parish, we are humbled by the opportunity to steward this iconic and beautiful property into the future in a way that honors its past and the vision for the future of the North Fork,” {I believe Liz Casey Searl} said: “Having been raised in this parish, we are humbled by the opportunity to steward this iconic and beautiful property into the future in a way that honors its past and the vision for the future of the North Fork”. who co-founded and runs the school with her sister, Kathryn Casey Quigley. “From preserving the green space and woods, to restoring the historic church building, we look forward to partnering with the wider community to preserve and transform the property into a community hub of educational and arts programming on the North Fork. It’s truly a dream come true.”
