Delighted Kids Watch Santa Arrive By Helicopter: Photos, Video
Excitement was in the air in Cutchogue Saturday as Santa made an appearance by helicopter as a crowd of delighted kids watched.
CUTCHOGUE, NY — Chanting "Santa! Santa! Santa!" and screaming in delight, a crowd of children were thrilled to see Santa Claus arrive in Cutchogue Saturday — by helicopter.
Despite chilly temps and snow flurries, scores turned out for the event, hosted by the North Fork Chamber of Commerce and the Cutchogue Fire Department.
"Christmas in Cutchogue" began with a magic show at the firehouse, followed by the arrival of Santa by helicopter, and then, photos with Santa at the Cutchogue New Suffolk Free Library.
