“What I witnessed with Healthy Food For Life was nothing short of amazing. There was a fabulous community spirit as moms, dads and kids came together to learn about wellness and prepare and eat healthy food together. I can’t help but wonder what it would look like if this program was in every school in the country,” he stated.
Wellness Foundation’s Healthy Food for Life program empowers children to become the “Generation of Change” instead of the first generation in history to have a shorter lifespan than their parents. The program has helped over 5,000 children and family members on the east end get healthy together.
