Dolphins Spotted In Orient Harbor: Video

ORIENT, NY — It wasn't just another day out on the water Monday for Peter Rowsom of Greenport, who got a glimpse of some graceful dolphins.

"Who would have thought! Dolphins in Orient Harbor," he said. "It was certainly nothing I had seen before or ever expected. 'Awesome' is about the best adjective I can think of."

It wasn't the first time dolphins have been seen in North Fork waters recently: In July, a pod of dolphins was seen frolicking around a sailboat off Greenport.
