Driver Hits School Bus In Mattituck, Leaves Scene: Police
The driver who left the scene hasn't been found yet, police say.

MATTITUCK, NY — A driver hit a school bus with 19 students onboard in Mattituck Wednesday and left the scene, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the crash took place at 7:25 a.m. at the intersection of Mill Lane and Route 25 in Mattituck.
The students and the bus driver were not injured, police said.

Mary Shipman, 52, of Cutchogue was driving the school bus, which was occupied by the 19 students and was en route to the school in Mattituck; she was making a right turn onto Route 25 from Mill Lane when she was struck by a white sedan that was making a right turn onto Mill Lane from Route 25, police said.
The sedan left the scene and was not located, police said.

No injuries were reported by the bus driver or any of the students, police said.
The bus was not damaged, police said.
