Drugged Dad Drove With 11-Month Old Daughter In Car: Cops
He was crossing onto the shoulder and tailgating with his baby in the back, police say.

CUTCHOGUE, NY — A Lindenhurst man was caught driving while impaired by drugs with this 11-month-old daughter in the back of the car, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, 33-year old Ronald Samuel Iazzetta was arrested on Friday at 6:16 p.m. as he was heading east on County Road 48 near the Cox Neck Road and Alvah's Lane.
Iazzetta was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

Authorities received a complaint of a gray 2015 Chevrolet Cruze heading east and failing to maintain its lane, police said.
Southold Town Police responded, located the vehicle in question, and observed Iazzetta repeatedly crossing over onto the shoulder of the roadway, as well as tailgating the vehicle in front of him, police said.

An investigation revealed that Iazzetta was impaired by drugs and that his 11-month old daughter was in the rear passenger seat of the motor vehicle, sitting in her child safety restraint, police said.
Iazzetta was arrested and transported to Eastern Long Island Hospital, where a blood test was conducted, police said.
Iazzetta was later transported to Southold Police headquarters, where he was processed and held overnight to await arraignment before the Southold Town Justice Court, police said.
