Drunk Driver Busted In Southold: Cops
He was stopped on Route 25 for failing to maintain his lane, police say.

SOUTHOLD, NY — A Greenport man was caught driving drunk on the road in Southold Saturday, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Jose Medrano, 39, was arrested at 2:25 a.m. on Route 25 and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Medrano was stopped for failing to maintain his lane; his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, he was unsteady on his feet, his breath smelled of an alcoholic beverage, and he failed several roadside sobriety tests administered at the scene, police said.

Medrano was found to be intoxicated, arrested, and transported back to Southold Police headquarters where he was processed and held for arraignment, police said.
